I gave my heart to God at a very young age and since have seen God do some miraculous things. I have prayed and fasted seeking God's will. I had an experience a two months ago in which I received peace about this situation and was confident that God was going to restore this broken relationship. In my heart it was done. I had no more desire to pray about this need. Though I'm usually very scepticle about such matters, I honestly believe God revealed to me that he was working in this situation and I would see restoration. We have been together for three years and were to be married in August of this year. A silly argument got out of hand and caused a split. She is a christian as well but has since stop going to church and will not talk to me. I have turned this matter over to the Lord! I am confident that God will act in my behalf and will keep his promise of restoration. I love her greatly but had I not had this revelation from God I would move on with my life but I'm trying to wait on God. Can you speak to me about this matter? Thank you. Dr. Browne,

It is so important to know our place, our functions and our talents. No one is more important than the other. Envy has no place in the vineyard of God. If we just look to the others we forget to do the thing that we are called to do. The Lord rewards us for whatever we do that He has asked us to do. How can we be envious because God is generous? He has blessings in store for everybody. I am just grateful that I can be part of a big plan; we all have our place in the big puzzle. And we will be blessed abundantly. God's favor will be upon our lives. And God will provide everything that we might need. Our generosity glorifies God – it brings forth thanksgiving to God. For me is important to know that even if I don't have many things to give, or at least this is what I believe, if I look at those less fortunate than me I realize that I do have a lot of things to give. And maybe it is just a smile, a handshake, an encouragement, but most of all I can share the Good News, God's greatest gift of all – eternal life through Jesus Christ. We have received so many things from God so nobody can say that he has nothing to give.
